Day 2:
Experience the primeval environment that welcomed the early settlers to Louisiana, this land of marshes and swamps in your Swamp Tour. Tour bayous dotted with imposing native cypress trees adorned with flowing Spanish moss. Glimpse a variety of wildlife and don't be surprised if you even see an alligator!
The afternoon is yours at the Audubon Zoo in Audubon Park! Spend pleasant hours roaming the world-class zoo, and enjoy the scenic park with its grand live oaks. Afterwards, return to your hotel by either a short bus ride down charming Magazine Street or enjoy a streetcar ride down famous St. Charles Avenue!

Begin the day with a family visit to the Aquarium of the Americas, one of the country's largest. Imagine you are swimming the deep as you walk through a tunnel and are surrounded by fish and exotic sea creatures. Be awed as you stand and view one of the most impressive collections of sharks in the world.
Relax through lunch, then take a short walk through the Central Business District (CBD) and the Warehouse District to the Louisiana Children's Museum. This gallery offers a hands-on experience designed especially for children (but fun for adults, too). “Please touch” are the signs you see here!
