Whether you arrive in the morning or in the afternoon, spend the remainder of the day exploring this unique city at your leisure. Visit the antique stores on Royal Street in the historic French Quarter or stroll along world-renowned Magazine Street with its antique and specialty shops and galleries. Time permitting, you may want to venture into the Warehouse District and enjoy its distinctive art galleries.
Remember that New Orleans and/or Louisiana, is the only destination in the U.S.A. that offers
Tax-Free Shopping to foreign visitors!

Day 2:
Enjoy the morning exploring the narrow streets of the captivating French Quarter. Perhaps you would like to treat yourself to some traditional delectable beignets and café au lait at the venerable Cafe du Monde on Jackson Square, and then do some window-shopping.

After your stroll through the French Quarter, see the breadth and diversity of the whole city on your guided City Tour. Leave your hotel in the early afternoon and drive briefly through the French Quarter before emerging onto one of the city's grand venues, Esplanade Avenue, which offers historic and aesthetically appealing mansions for your viewing pleasure.

St. Louis III Cemetery (closed on Sundays) is next, where you will learn about our burial customs. Your tour continues through City Park, one of the largest public parks in the country. As you pass by the impressive New Orleans Museum of Art, stop for a quick rest in the park.

The afternoon continues on a drive on our grand promenade, St. Charles Avenue, lined with its awe-inspiring mansions. Proceed through the Garden District, also known as the American Sector, where Americans established stately homes representative of various architectural styles. Pass the four-star dining establishment, Commander's Palace, where Louisiana chef Paul Prudhomme made his debut. Return to your hotel via the city's Central Business District with its significant skyscrapers and the world-renowned Superdome, the largest indoor arena in the world. New Orleans offers so much-- you'll decide you must come back!

Afterwards, you can rest at your hotel or enjoy a drink in one of the numerous Jazz or Blues Clubs in the French Quarter before embarking on the Jazz Dinner Cruise on the Mississippi River. On board a nineteenth-century style paddle-wheel steamboat, you will have a unique and spectacular view of the city while dining on our famous Creole cuisine and listening to the music born in New Orleans, Jazz!
